However, this has been criticized by many and therefore a new regulation is in place.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The new regulation now foresees that the applications can be made starting May, 20th via \u201cFinanzonline\u201d (and not as initially communicated via aws). This would mean that first payments might even happen end of May \u2013 the fixed cost subsidy does not have to be paid back.<\/p>\n<p>ATTENTION: There is a lot of \u201efine pints\u201c to be considered, such as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If your loss in profits is less than 40% you won\u2019t receive the fixed cost support<\/li>\n<li>Fixed cost support of less than \u20ac2,000.00 won\u2019t be granted<\/li>\n<li>The support is linked to restrictions in bonus payments to managing board and managing directors and restrictions in dividend payments and profit payments<\/li>\n<li>A \u201cset-off calculation\u201d with other corona-measurements such as the hardship case fund is considered (this is contrary to earlier drafts)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>It is essential to be able to prove and show the decrease in profits. Based on the height of requested support, there can be a plausibility-check resp. a confirmation from the tax advisor might be needed.
