The 2014 newly introduced Pendlerrechner still causes confusion for employees and employers. In June 2014 a new, improved version of the Pendlerrechner was introduced, which should lead to more accurate results. 05/05/2014Termination due to the worry that the employee might become pregnant – prohibited (gender based) discrimination
Recently, the Supreme Court of Justice has decided that terminating an employee, who isn’t pregnant, might also – in some special cases – be a prohibited discrimination. This can be applicable, if the employer raises his concerns about a possible future pregnancy. This is why, it is advisable to document the reasons for separation.
